At Benetas there are: NO hidden fees, NO basic daily fees, NO set up fees and NO exit fees
Just two fees:
- Package Management
- Care Management
It’s important to note that these fees are NOT out of pocket. We deduct these fees from your package budget.
Your Home Care Package budget is set aside for you to spend with the Provider of your choice. Most Providers charge for both Package Management and Care Management.
1. Our Package Management fees
This fee covers the ongoing administration and organisational activities required to coordinate your Package. Some examples of what this fee includes: Operating costs, Preparing monthly statements, Managing your Package funds, Aged care compliance and quality assurance activities, and more.
At Benetas, Package Management fees are charged at a set 15% of your Home Care Package.

2. Our Care Management fees
This fee applies to the initial assessment of your care needs, the ongoing development of your care plan and to coordinate your individual services, often involving a variety of suppliers.
The cost of Care Management varies depending on your preferences for support and advice. At Benetas, you can choose from two options:
Partnership - recommended for those who feel they could partially self-manage their own care plan with a bit of phone contact with us. Our Partnership fee is 17% of your package level.
OR
Fully Supported – recommended for those with high care needs (usually level 3 and 4). More services requires additional coordination of services and more comprehensive care monitoring. Our Fully Supported fee is 20% of your package level.

Care Management is an important component of your Home Care Package.
It includes:
- Reviewing your Home Care Agreement - a written agreement between you and your provider detailing the services you will access;
- The initial and ongoing assessment, planning and development of your Care Plan - a plan we design together to ensure the services you choose will help you achieve your goals;
- Ensuring there is someone to speak to when you need to;
- Ensuring your care is aligned with your culture and other supports;
- Identifying and addressing risks to your safety;
- The coordination of your budget, care and services to help you maximise your Package.
Every Home Care Package will require some level of care management, ensuring you receive the appropriate level of support for your current and future care needs and goals.
You can choose the type of support and contact you want from us, whether that be home visits, phone check-ins or a combination of both.
