Different Languages, Same Aged Care: Consumer voices help redesign multilingual support
The Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing, supported by Benetas, worked together with leaders at Belvedere Aged Care, an aged care provider in South-East Melbourne, to co-design multilingual communication cards with their residents from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Benetas is pleased to announce that Nikolaus Rittinghausen has been appointed as the new Manager, Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing (The Centre).
Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing Consumer Voice Film project
In November 2021, the “You Can Ask for What You Need from Aged Care Services” film was released by the Centre for Cultural Diversity in Ageing in 16 different languages. The film aims to raise awareness for consumers from culturally diverse backgrounds about their right to give feedback to an aged care service.
