Benetas is re-purposing a number of independent living units in Bendigo to provide temporary accommodation for aged care employees struggling to pay local rent or having to commute from Melbourne to maintain their employment.

This Saturday, 7 August, is Aged Care Employee Day, and Victorian aged care provider Benetas has identified five outstanding employees to take out the third annual Benetas Aged Care Employee Day Awards, held every year to acknowledge significant contributions made by employees for the benefit of customers.

Known as the St John’s Rise Pioneers, the first group of people to secure the architecturally designed retirement living units, set to be completed in the heart of Mooroolbark by 2022, were hosted by provider Benetas, earlier this month.

Victorian aged care provider Benetas, hosted an Olympic Torch relay, which kicked off in Bendigo on Monday 5th July and is on its way to 14 homes across Victoria, finishing at Benetas support office in Hawthorn.
